Checheng is the terminal station of Nantou Tourist Railroad-Jiji line. It was famous for the power station, the lumbering, and the coal industry. By the changing of society, only brickwork and factories of lumber are remained here. You can take a walk or come here by a car. Not only the remains but also the plum of Mt. Xin is worthy of sightseeing.

Transportation：

Nat'l Fwy 1 → Exit at the Changhua System Interchange → Nat'l Fwy 3 → Exit at the Mingjian Interchange → Prov. Hwy 3 → Prov. Hwy 16 → County Hwy 131

Public：

Take TRA to Ershui Station, transfer Jiji Line to Checheng Station.
Take THSR or TRA to Taichung Station, transfer Sun Moon Lake Route 6670 to Sun Moon Lake stop, and transfer Checheng Route 6671 to Checheng stop.
