Taiwan Temple & Shrine Art Museum

The Taiwan Temple Art Museum affiliated to the Yunlin Cultural Center includes a main hall (temple hall) and 2 side halls (puppet show museum and deity statue museum). The main hall is the biggest and introduces temples in Taiwan in 19 areas.

Subjects of the exhibits in the temple hall cover the correlations between temples and Taiwan development, temple fairs, color paintings, flag embroidery etc. The puppet show hall is another major exhibition hall. With the assistance of the Ge Sect of Yunlin - Xinxing Ge Puppet Show Theatre, over 200 puppets have been collected. The deity statute hall is behind the puppet show hall, displaying the statues of common deities found in Taiwan, such as Mazu, Guanyin, Wangye, Guangong, Fude Zhengshen etc.
