Dapu Inscription

The Dapu Inscription records the brave history of General Sheng Yurong catching Japanese pirates alive during the Wanli Years of the Ming Dynasty. This little piece of granite stele witnessed the past history of pirates gathering at Matzu and is now listed as a 3rd-level ancient remain.

Air:
From Taipei International Airport fly to Nangan on Uni Air. Then take the ferry from Fu-ao Harbor to Dongyin Meng-ao Harbor.

Sea:
The Taima Ferry offers daily service from Keelung Harbor in Taiwan to Fu-ao Harbor in Nangan and Zhongzhu Harbor in Dongyin.

Nangan and Beigan have public bus service, and taxis can be found at major harbors. Taxi prices should be negotiated in advance.
