Lovers' Gorge and Duona Hot Spring are located in Maolin. In 1957, the government renamed the place. The major aboriginal tribe here is Rukai. Lovers' Gorge lies on the south of Zhoukou River and is famous for canyons and rivers. The most famous scene in Lovers' Gorge is Lovers' Waterfall, which has 5 levels. A suspension bridge leads to the first level. Continue climbing for about 10 minutes and you will find the second level. It is very cool and comfortable around the waterfall, which makes it a perfect summer resort.
