Atayal Resort lies in Nantou County, between the Guandao Mountains and Beigang River. The resort was planned and established by people who loved the Atayal Aboriginal Tribe. There were a lot of Atayal indigenous living in Nantou County in the past; thus, Nantou is full of characteristics of Atayal. The resort features the natural environment, Atayal culture and recreation. Visitors can take a good rest and learn more about the Atayal Tribe after visiting Atayal Resort.
Atayal Resort places great emphasis preserving aboriginal culture. There are aboriginal museum, sculptures and dance shows in the resort. Aboriginal houses, such as Wandashe, Balashe and Atayal, are recreated in the resort. The museum exhibits historic objects and introduces the traditional Atayal lifestyle.

Transportation：Nat'l Fwy 1 → Exit at the Changhua System Interchange → Nat'l Fwy 3 → Exit at the Wufeng System Interchange → Nat'l Fwy 6 → Exit at the Puli Interchange → Prov. Hwy 21 → Beiyuan Rd.
Public：Take THSR or TRA to Taichung Station, transfer Nantou Bus 6670 (bound for Sun Moon Lake) to Caotun stop, and transfer Nantou Bus 6653 to Atayal Resort stop.
