The Beitou Museum was first opened in 1983 as the "Taiwan Folk Art & Antique House." In 1984 the premises were converted to their present use as a museum of Taiwan's early folk arts and popular artifacts. Over 5,000 items are on display including 5,000 folk arts, aboriginal arts, and traditional costumes and embroideries.

Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-18:00 (Closed on Monday)

Transportation：

Nat'l Fwy 1 → Huanbei Interchange → Sec. 2 to 3, Huanhe N. Rd. → Sec. 6 to 7, Yanping N. Rd. → Zhoumei Expressway → Daye Rd. → Quanyuan Rd. → Youya Rd.

Public：

Take THSR (or TRA) to Taipei Station, transfer Taipei MRT to Xinbeitou Station, transfer Taipei City Bus 230, Small 25 to Beitou Museum stop.

Bus stops
