The Dapu Inscription records the brave history of General Sheng Yurong catching Japanese pirates alive during the Wanli Years of the Ming Dynasty. This little piece of granite stele witnessed the past history of pirates gathering at Matsu and is now listed as a municipal heritage site remain.
