Taiwan CDC: Command Center Announcement

Effective the date above, new restrictions have been instituted regarding entry into Taiwan by non-Taiwanese nationals.

The new restrictions require all foreign nationals to apply for and receive prior approval from Taiwan immigration authorities before such individuals will be permitted to enter the country.

Once a foreign national enters Taiwan, they will be required immediately upon entry to undergo monitored self-quarantine for a period of 14 days.

Under the new regulations, every person entering Taiwan, regardless of citizenship status, must immediately undergo a 14-day period of monitored self-quarantine upon arrival.


New restrictions have also been instituted for all individuals who entered Taiwan between March 5-14 and whose travel itinerary included any time spent in Europe.

All such individuals must immediately begin a 14-day monitored period of self-quarantine.
