Located near the famous tourist spot Chengcing Lake, the Kaohsiung Golf & Country Club, with the first nine holes opened in 1961, is the oldest golf course in southern Taiwan. It perhaps is one of the most challenging courses in Taiwan. Built with old designs, the course features 7,000 yards in length, luxuriant forests and elevated greens. Each hole offers an exceptional challenge due to the rolling topography and zigzagging fairways.
There are six holes with a length of more than 550 yards in Kaohsiung Golf & Country Club. Even though the view is spectacular, long golf holes will soon drain your energy. Uniquely beautiful views are for your enjoyment while you are walking on the course, such as the tower standing tall beside the 10th green. The availability of such views in the nature provides a relaxing visual treat during a highly challenging round.
