The beautiful Kuang Yin Shan Golf Club is situated on the scenic hilly terrain of Kuang Yin Shan, a popular tourist spot in Kaohsiung. The 18-hole layout is carved out of the natural topography and the constant undulations make the course challenging for high-handicappers.
Par-5 14th is the most remarkable hole of the course. A length of 640 yards in addition to a dogleg left design lead to a loss of confidence when driving from the tee. The narrower fairway after the dogleg poses more challenges for players. The third shot demands a precise driver or long iron to land the ball around the green or even on the putting surface.
Kuang Yin Shan Golf Club has a nice four-storey clubhouse equipped with all quality amenities. The space is big, clean, bright and the service is of top quality. Around the course are several sightseeing spots, including Cuipingyan, Dajue Temple, Shennong Lake, and Chen’s Cemetery. A tour of these places has become a routine for golfers after a round of golf here.
