Taiwan Tourist Shuttle websiteTaiwan Tourist Shuttle websiteAdministration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) released its new Taiwan Tourist Shuttle platform, including the new Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Mobile Museum version 3.0 introduced in mid-2025. From August to November, the museum will travel through Taiwan’s central, southern and eastern regions, and this will be combined with special activities. The shuttle has become a large-scale mobile exhibition hall, integrating art, design, interactivity and tourism information to bring tourists a new low-carbon travel experience.

The tour’s first stop will be at the Niupuzai Love Prairie in Alishan, Chiayi from August 30-31. It will then move on to Taitung’s Duli Visitor Center, Pingtung’s Binwan Wharf, Nantou’s Sun Moon Lake and other places. The new vehicle design turns the chassis into part of the exhibit, and integrates it with local special activities to show the aesthetics of movement.

See the highlights of the exhibition in one visit!

The Shuttle Museum highlights themes that include security, simple beauty, and slow travel via stunning visual design, a new livery and distinctive bus shelters. The Low-Carbon Travel area features over 80 Taiwan travel itineraries across Taiwan, including its outlying islands. Featured destinations include Jiufen, Jinguashi, Sun Moon Lake, Kenting, the Hualien-Taitung Valley, and Penghu. The Tropic of Cancer exhibition area explores the natural ecology and landscape aesthetics from the perspective of the 23.5° line. The 100 “Highlights of Sightseeing” exhibition area explains how to easily explore scenic highlights in each of Taiwan’s regions.

Enjoy fun and gifts along the way!

This promotion includes a variety of interactive activities, such as taking photos with the popular "OhBear Driver," experiencing beautiful bus window views, and browsing the in-bus travel map for inspiration for your next trip. In addition, each session will feature a limited edition "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle View Postcard." Take a photo with the postcard at the exhibition and upload it to your personal social media account for a chance to win prizes that include meal vouchers, restaurant vouchers, and convenience store gift cards. (Limited to one entry per person per session, while supplies last.)

The MOTC’s Tourism Administration stated that to enhance the overall image of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle the new branding effort includes new liveries for buses and redesign of bus shelters. The hearts of travelers will be uplifted by beautiful scenes through the windows of buses, fully embodying the core spirit of the shuttle’s brand.
