The Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications launched the "Taiwan the Lucky Land" lottery on May 1, 2023, and it concluded successfully on September 30, 2025. The campaign welcomed 6.53 million tourists to Taiwan to try their luck, with over 780,000 people winning prizes. It generated significant buzz in the post-pandemic international tourism market. To thank international travelers who registered for the "Taiwan the Lucky Land" campaign and welcome more visitors to Taiwan, the Tourism Administration began the current "Thank You Season" lottery event on November 12, 2025.

To promote tourism to Taiwan, the Tourism Administration initiated the first “Thank You Season” lucky draw on May 1, 2023. Winners in the program can receive NT$5,000 in e-tickets or hotel discount vouchers. The top six markets for participants in this program so far have been South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. The vouchers were used at sites such as convenience stores, department stores, souvenir shops, and hotels.

To thank international tourists for their support of Taiwan tourism and the "Thank You Season" campaign, the Tourism Administration began holding "Thank You Season” lucky draws on November 12, 2025 and will continue them through noon on January 30, 2026 (Taiwan time). International travelers can register for the "Thank You Season" draw on the event website. After visiting Taiwan during the period noted above, they can then be eligible to win a prize. The Tourism Administration will draw at least 10 lucky tickets each week through January 2026.

Attractive prizes highlighted by the Tourism Administration include business class tickets to Taiwan offered by China Airlines, EVA Air, and STARLUX Airlines on any of their global routes. Many hotels across Taiwan are sponsoring accommodation vouchers. Currently 24 hotels are offering vouchers, including the Lalu Hotel Sun Moon Lake, Grand Hotel, Sheraton, Howard Plaza, Fullon Hotel, amba Taipei, Marriott, LDC Hotel, Lealea Hotel, Cathay Hotel (including Hotel Cozzi and the Madison Taipei), the Shangri-La, Evergreen Laurel Hotel, Promisedland Resort and Lagoon, Moxy, Kimpton Da An Hotel, and the Leofoo Group.

The Tourism Administration wishes to express its gratitude to all international tourists who have visited Taiwan and participated in the "Thank You Season" event. The Administration hopes to make Taiwan a top choice for repeat visits and invites all international tourists to return to Taiwan to experience its rich mountain & sea scenery, local cuisines and warm hospitality. We are sure that every visit will create wonderful travel memories.
