Fujian Tulou is a globally unique UNESCO World Heritage site composed of a large grouping of earthen Hakka round houses. These mainland tuluos served as the models for the Hakka Round House built in Miaoli's Houlong High Speed Rail Special Zone. The house covers an area of 1,385 square meters. it has one basement level and three above ground floors. There is a round exhibition and performance hall on the first floor, an exhibition space on the second floor, DIY classrooms on the third floor, and a multimedia viewing room on the basement level. The Hakka Round House is built on the Qingshui Corridor, with a waterside loop trail, curved viewing platform, entrance square, and wood-planked waterside path. The view is especially romantic illuminated at night.
