The construction of Taichung Golf & Country Club is developed and supported by Yang Tien-fa, the president of a local enterprise Sinon Corporation. Planned and designed by the prestigious Japanese course designer Watanabe Hiroshi, the layout is located on the foothills of Dadu Mountain, a scenic spot with year-round spring weather adjacent to Central Taiwan Science Park and near suburban Taichung. The course has been a popular golf destination in Taiwan thanks to its expansive, spectacular view and moderately challenging holes. The golf club is easily accessible because it connects with Highway 1 via Zhongching and Zhonggang interchanges on the east. It also connects with Highway 3 via Longjing and Shalu on the west.
Taichung Golf & Country Club spreads on an area of over 90 hectares. A total of 18 holes measures 9,580 yards. Tens of thousands trees of native species thrive on the moderately rolling terrain, with the greens re-grassed with champion grass and maintained by professional turf consultants. The amenities include a sauna and a restaurant with a round glass box which offers an unobstructed view of downtown Taichung and part of the fairways. Come enjoy the cozy comfort of the resort and a round of relaxing golf.
