Domestic Flights

Taiwan has a thriving network of domestic flights. Many airplanes fly among the country's main cities every day. In fact, taking a flight has almost become as common as taking a long-distance bus, and the flights are often fully booked on weekends and holidays. Please book a seat in advance from the airline company you plan to fly with. You may also make a booking through a travel agency.

When checking in at the airport, please bring a valid ID (Taiwanese citizens, please show your national identity card; foreigners, please present your passport).

Outbound traffic info: Shuttle Bus: Upon arrival at the Taitung Airport, other than taking a taxi, visitors may take Dingdong Bus to the city center. Outbound traffic info: Bus: Upon arrival at the Ludao Airport, take Ludao Bus that goes to all the major scenic spots. Please be reminded that Ludao Bus tours the island in a clockwise direction, and its final stop is Nanliao Fishing Port.

Lanyu Airport Add: No. 151, Yuren Rd., Hongtou Vil., Lanyu Township, Taitung County Tel: +886-89-732220 The planes fly to Taitung. Outbound traffic info: Bus: Upon arriving at Lanyu Airport, passengers may take Lanyu Tourist Shuttle to go to the major scenic spots in Lanyu.

Penghu Airport Add: No. 126-5, Aimen Vil., Huxi Township, Penghu County Tel: +886-6-9229123 The planes fly to Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Qimei and Kinmen. Outbound traffic info: Bus: The bus stop is located on the south of the airport. Passengers make take a bus from there if they wish to go to Taiwu, Longmen, Jianshan, Wukan or Qingluo. Outbound traffic info: Bus: The bus stop is on the right of the Matsu Nangan Airport. There are two bus routes in Nangan, the Mountain Line and the Coastal Line.
