Situated in Beimen Township across from the Southwest Coast National Scenic Area Headquarters, the weathered Qian-Lai-Ye used to be an employee canteen of TAIYEN. This traditional structure with slant rooftop was converted into an emerging landmark in Beimen, using techniques of spatial arts. The outer walls are decorated with tile fragments, shells and oyster shells to bring out the ocean theme. A lot of people come all the way from Hong Kong to take pictures of Qian-Lai-Ye because it is a famous locale for the popular drama "The Prince Who Turns into a Frog".
*Qian-Lai-Ye means "money rushing in"
