This is the site of Taiwan Sugar's abandoned sugar mill, which in 1994 was transformed into a recreational farm focusing on pastoral scenery. The prairie scenery of Mongolia was transplanted here in 2000, giving the place the nickname of "Little Mongolia."
The Mongolian cultural traits portrayed here include "improved" Mongolian cuisine, a museum of Mongolian artifacts, and Mongolian souvenirs. Visitors can have their picture taken in rented Mongolian clothing. This is the place to experience the exotic culture of China's northern neighbor.
