At 248 meters, Yuntai Mountain is the highest point on Nangan Island. It also offers an excellent vantage of the surrounding scenery. Between every early spring and early summer the mountain is often enshrouded in a mist, lending the site an ethereal beauty. Visitors can drive to the peak. At the top are a military observation post, military flag platform, and viewing platform that face out to Beigan Island and China. On a clear day you can even see the Beijiao Peninsula on the mainland side.
Open Hours
Mt. Yuntai Military Intelligence Building: 09:00-11:00 & 14:00-17:00 (Only open to citizens)
