Yuangang Fishing Harbor is located on the northern end of the coast in Yuanli Township. Developed for tourism, the port has a fishermen activity center, ocean view pavilion, playground, fish grilling area, performance square, market, shellfish farming ponds, a camping area, parking lot, trails, arched bridge, and pavilions. The green activity area on the west side of the port is open to the public for morning runs, sports, kite flying, enjoying the ocean and sunset views, and other recreations. Freshly caught fish is auctioned at the port every morning from 6:30 a.m. Open to both businesses and the general public. The fish sold is generally fresher and cheaper than the fish sold at the market, making the auction a hugely popular event.
