Ticket Purchasing Processes, Channels, and Boarding Methods

1. Currently, Kaohsiung Metro single-journey tickets have been fully replaced with QR Code single-journey tickets, which can be purchased at Automatic Ticket Issuing Machines inside metro stations or at station information counters.
2. When boarding, enter the station by scanning your ticket card or QR Code single-journey ticket at the gates. To provide a comfortable and safe riding environment, smoking is entirely prohibited throughout the station areas, and eating, drinking, and chewing gum are prohibited within the "No Food or Drink" zones.
3. Exiting the station uses the same scanning method as entering. Systems for travel passes, electronic tickets, credit cards, and transit codes will automatically deduct the fare, while QR Code single-journey tickets will become invalid immediately after being scanned.

EasyCard is a contactless electronic fare-card that may be used at MRT, bus, parking lots, or partnership stores. Just gently touch the sensor machine with the card and the payment will be made.
