Qinbi Village is one of the most extensive settlements in the Matsu archipelago in terms of preserving traditional Fujian architecture. It is popular among architectural, cultural and artistic circles at home and abroad. In the old days, villagers made a living catching shrimp. In the 1970s, the fishing industry declined and most of the residents had to depart to make a living. The vacant houses they left behind were transformed into homestays as well as art and cultural spaces under the government's planned renovation. The stone houses can help you relive diverse styles of the past.

Above the tunnel, as a memory of its military past, are the characters “baba,” meaning “88.” The distillery sells its products under the famous brand name of “Tunnel 88.”
The Matsu (Matzu) Tianhou Temple is the largest and most magnificent temple in the Matsu area. It is also known as Magang Tianhou Temple. More than 4,000 wooden blocks were used to create the brackets placed on the columns holding up the structure. According to written records, it was built during the reign of the Qing dynasty's Jiaqing Emperor, which was from 1796-1820. A restoration project was completed in 2002. It is an impressive and solemn palace-style building. It was completed by craftsmen from the three places on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The stone carvings on the dragon pillars and the gods on the embossed door gods, as well as other details, are exquisite. The sarcophagus in the main hall is believed to be the resting place of Matsu, the Queen of Heaven.
Very near the Tianhou Temple, on the side of a mountain, is a giant statue of the goddess Matzu, the Queen of Heaven. It was completed in October 2009. It took more than 10 years to build from proposal to official completion. It represents the devotion of people to Matzu. The giant statue's main structure was carved from 365 pieces of granite, symbolizing "365 days, with peace every day." Standing high on the hill near the coast, it looks majestic and exudes a feeling of compassion.

The straight coast and soft sand of Banli Beach is surrounded by Qinshan, Banshan and Lishan. This white sand beach is particularly precious to Matsu, which has many rocky beaches. Whether watching the sunrise or the sunset, visitors to Banli Beach can experience the beauty of the changing lights, shadows and clouds.
Tanghoudao Beach is near Beigan Airport. It was originally an island-linking sandbar that connected the villages of Tangqi and Houao. Because the sand is so fine and white, it is known as "Sugar Sand." The surrounding area is vast, and the beach is like a plain in the sea. When the tide is high, the beach is submerged by sea water and only a narrow path is exposed. At low tide, the beaches on both sides are revealed.
Daqiu Island, known as "Sika Deer Island," is north of Beigan Island. One feature is the Daqiu Ecological Trail, which is 400-500 meters long. Taiwan's northernmost point is in Matsu's Dongyin Township at the headland of Hou'ao on the township's Xiyin Island. The Matsu National Scenic Area Headquarters built a viewing platform on the site with the coordinates of N26°22'58.8" E120°28'34.0". This both commemorates the location and provides visitors with improved views. A stone plaque proclaims the spot as the "Northern Frontier of the Country." Tourists enjoy taking pictures with the plaque to commemorate their visit to this unique place.
Yixiantian Cliff is a steep sea-eroded trench near the headland of Tianwangao on the east side of Dongyin Island. Two vertical rock walls stand close together, while below waves hits the rocks, sounding like galloping horses. The sounds from the wind and waves reverberate off the rock walls. Tunnels have been built between the cliffs, and a cement bridge with a platform is only 10 meters from the sea. Although you are only 10 meters above the sea, the angles can make you feel as though you are 100 meters up in the air.
