Situated in Xia-fu, Linkou, Hsing-Fu Golf Club is a 27-hole layout about an hour from downtown Taipei. The 27 holes are separated into three sections—East Course, West Course, and North Course. The East and West, a design by Aoki Corporation make a par-73 18-hole course, and the par-36 West is an addition to the existing East and West nines. Though the length is not long, the West Course is no easy task because it is closest to the coast, thus is prone to the influence of strong sea winds.
Hsing-Fu Golf Club covers 120 hectares on the mildly rolling terrain in Linkou. The course is not very difficult due to the fact that the fairways are spacious without many tall trees and the greens are not too fast. Just as its name “hsing-fu” (literally happiness) indicates, golfers will have a terrific and relaxing time on this beautiful course.
