As one of Taiwan’s most prominent golf courses, Ta Shee Golf & Country Club has hosted several prestigious international events like the Jonnie Walker Classic and BMW Asian Open, in which top pros like Tiger Woods, Nick Faldo and Ernie Els played their great game. In 1999, Ta Shee called in the leading course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. for a complete renovation. The result is a world-class golf course, which is also the only course in Taiwan recognized by European Tour, Australian Tour and Asian Tour as a tournament caliber course. Ta Shee also offers other premium amenities, including the Chinese restaurant Ming Garden, a café for light meals, a practice range and the Westin Hotel & Resorts. A trip to Ta Shee will ensure a relaxing and enjoyable golf experience.
Ta Shee Golf & Country Club, which covers a terrain of 101.31 hectares, is situated in Daxi, Taoyuan among layered mountains with tall, blue sky in the background. The 27 holes are separated into the Eastern Course, Central Course and Western Course. Featuring a total of 128 bunkers and 16 ponds, the 27 holes boast a variety of topographical changes and challenges. The Eastern Course and Central Course make up a 7,150-yard, 18-hole layout which runs along the natural hilly, undulating landscape. The shorter Western Course measures 3,143 yards, featuring broader fairways and level surfaces. Gorgeous views are accessible from the Eastern, Central, and Western courses, undoubtedly a great extra to a wonderful golfing experience.
