Located in Guishan, Taiwan, The Orient Golf & Country Club is an easy access of just 30 minutes away from downtown Taipei. The 18-hole standard course was created by Ronald Fream, a prominent American course designer of Golfplan. Equipped with a standard night lighting system, this 7,168-yard track creatively combines diversity and challenge, boasting smooth circulation routes, winding and undulating fairways, and fast greens covered with eagle grass.
The Orient Golf & Country Club, with its outstanding course maintenance and services, is one of the most premium membership golf courses in Taiwan. And its elegant, exquisite clubhouse with a designer look is recognized with the Top Ten Asian Architectural Design Award by Architectural Institute of Japan and has been presented with first prize by Taiwan Architect magazine.
It is also worth mentioning that The Orient Golf & Country Club highly values nature and ecology. Various plants along the fairways greet people with profuse blooms all year round. You are also accompanied by a variety of animal friends while enjoying a round of fun golf, including black swans and mallard ducks in the lake, flocks of egrets, colorful butterflies, and roaming goats. The Orient Golf & Country Club has been emphasizing sustainability with various implementations for energy saving and carbon reduction, which makes it the only golf course in Taiwan honored with the Green Building Certificate.
