The Lily Golf & Country Club was designed by the famous Japanese course designer Shunsuke Kato. The layout features a strong emphasis on ecology and nature conservation, with more than 200,000 trees standing on the property. A rich variety of native tree species further highlights the course carved out of a forest setting. While some trees are planted to define holes and fairways, most of them are for scenic purposes, which give a feeling of walking in the mountains when playing on the course. Each hole is well-defined and the undulating terrain poses a real challenge to players, especially on the 8th “Red Bridge,” a signature hole with perhaps the most spectacular golf bridge in Taiwan. One of the best experiences at Lily Golf & Resort is seeing the ball fly over the valleys against the magnificent view.
Lily Golf & Resort has nicely dense grass which provides excellent green speed. The holes are finely tuned with the layout, and each hole is safe and has a character of its own. In a nutshell, the course is a perfect blend of nature, fun, and challenge. The club has held golf training sessions as well as games for professionals, amateurs, and junior golfers in Taiwan, giving evidence of its superb course design and management.
