Founded in 1995 and located near the Flaming Mountains, a renowned scenic spot in Yuanli, Miaoli, the National Golf Country Club is a great design famous for its challenging fast greens. You can play the course year-round thanks to the favorable climate. The fairways stretch over the hilly course leaning towards the Taiwan Strait, and you can see the great expanse of seascape in distance when the sky is clear. Ten bronze sculptures by the great artist Yang Ying-feng on the course seamlessly blend into the landscape, further adding style to this superb design.
National Garden is an 18-hole, par-72 world-class layout with a spread of 115 hectares and a distance of 7,014 yards. Fairways are carpeted with Bermuda grass and the greens are covered with champion turf, which rivals that used in US Tour and European Tour. In addition to three well-positioned lakes, the chipping ground and putting green at the back of the Resort Clubhouse are popular spots for players to improve their game. Since the completion of the Resort Clubhouse in 2010, the former "National Garden Golf Club" has been changed to its present name. Both Chinese and Western cuisines are available in this country club. The Four Season Restaurant in the First Clubhouse offers Chinese and Cantonese dishes while the Italian restaurant Gusto in the Resort Clubhouse greets its guests with Mediterranean and Italian cuisines.
