Wu Fong Golf Course is located in the mountainous area at the border of Taichung and Nantou with the famous Jiujiu Peak behind, the Central Mountain Range in the east and downtown Taichung in its west. It is simply relaxing and pleasant being in such a beautiful place. Surviving the devastating 921 Earthquake, the course was renovated with a design which respects the natural hilly terrain and the local ecological integrity. The course is quite challenging due to its rolling, curving fairways and wave-like greens. Good variety of long and short holes further offers more diversity to the golfing experience. In 2009, Wu Fong became the first ecological golf course in Taiwan which obtained the National Audubon Society certification. Since then, the course has been actively adhering to the society’s guidelines and obtained a third certification in October, 2015. The course keeps reducing the amount of chemicals and fertilizers used in a bid to restore the ecological balance and protect local animals, and more importantly, to provide golfers a rounds of golf in a natural and healthy environment. The modern-looking clubhouse features a memorable touch of style and elegance. The amenities further add charm to the course.
