Opened in 1991 and under the management of Tong Yang Group and Tayih Group, Nan Yi Golf Country Club is situated in the south of the vast Jianan Plain. The layout was designed by the famous Japanese course designer Hiroshi Watanabe, who utilized 57 bunkers and 11 large ponds to create a charming, fun-filled golfing environment.
The fairways on Nan Yi are mostly south-north oriented in order to avoid the direct sunlight as golfers take a swing. Winds from north and south make the course delightfully cool and pleasant in the hot, humid summer. The 18-hole track measures 7,271 yards, featuring fairways carpeted with silt grass and doff-grassed greens. The whole layout is kept freshly green year-round, with double greens adding much variety to the play. The fairways are well-maintained and many different flowers and trees perfectly blend with the pond views, offering wonderful natural beauty. The grand clubhouse designed by a renowned architect offers Chinese and Western cuisine and is equipped with world-class conference facilities and prestigious venues for commercial exhibitions. As one of the best golf courses in south Taiwan, Nan Yi is a great destination for golf and all kinds of gatherings.
