Ta Kang Shan Golf Course, which covers an area of 160 hectares at the border of Kaohsiung and Tainan, is easily accessible. It is about three-minute drive from Highway 3 and only 20 kilometers from downtown Tainan. It is designed by a renowned Japanese course designer Kunie Ito. Tall hoop pines are planted along both sides of the road, making a spectacular visual treat.
Fairways and greens of Ta Kang Shan Golf Course, which boasts splendid landscapes, are well maintained. The 18 holes are carved through gentle valleys and ridges with large ponds and distinctive bunkers around them. The variation makes golf games more challenging and entertaining.
With luxuriant trees, Ta Kang Shan Golf Course is also called a “forest course.” Large ponds and special bunkers create variation in fairways. In addition, Ta Kang Shan Golf Course is the only night-lighted course in south. In summer, people will definitely enjoy playing golf in the evening here.
