The National Museum of Prehistory-Beinan Site Park is Taiwan's first archaeological site park. It preserves this site, and efforts also including replanting native low-altitude plants to help regenerate Taiwan's natural environment. The park has archaeological sites that include moon-shaped stone pillars. An exhibition hall provides an overview of the prehistoric cultural connotations of the Beinan ruins, as well as reproductions of traditional prehistoric houses and aboriginal buildings. The site also offers a visitor center, dining facilities, observation decks and other services. The park is a treasure of cultural assets and natural ecology.
