The Baling Old Trail of mountainous Fuxing was built by early Ayatal people in order to visit other tribes. Once deserted due to changes of times, today, wooden paths and rope bridges are installed to connect Ballin Bridge and Lalashan Visitor Center. The historic remains have also been kept. After inauguration, the trail isn't lonely anymore.
In this area, there are butterfly, beetle, broad-leaf forest, and geology museums. A wide range of specimens are displayed and eco-tours are held. Visitors are encouraged to learn about Lalashan's natural resources here.
