Pengjia Islet Lighthouse, completed in 1909, is located on Pengjia Islet, a volcanic island of the northeastern coast of Keelung. The lighthouse is a white, circular brick tower equipped with a first-order rotating Fresnel lens—the largest rotating lens currently is used in Taiwan.

Unusually, the lighthouse is built within the crater of the extinct volcano in the island, making it a rare and distinctive structure. Due to its prominent appearance, the lighthouse was targeted and bombed four times by Allied aircraft during WWII.
