A two-story building, Nangfangao Visitor Center is characterized by fishery village and fishery industry culture. It showcases the natural ecology, ocean culture, and scenic spots of the Northeast Coast and Yilan, as well as tourist information of Suao and Nangfangao. The goal is to help people learn more about the region.

Well integrated into the surroundings and manifesting local cultural characteristics, the center uses wind power and recycles rain, and it opens up all the windows for natural ventilation and light. The center is therefore bright with a sense of transparency. The natural views outside the windows make the center seem a part of the coastal scenery. While exploring the center, visitors might even smell a light scent of oceans and fish - the scent of Nangfanao!
