The Veoveoana Cultural and Creative Park is located at Luzijiao of Chukou Village. It is primarily a flat alluvial terrace, with a level terrain and an altitude ranging between 200 and 205 meters. This area is historically the traditional hunting ground site for Formosan sika deer of the Tsou people, where early tribal members engaged in hunting and activities. The Veoveoana Tribe shares a profoundly deep relationship with the Formosan sika deer; the Tsou ancestors named this place "Poftongveoveo," which signifies the place for chasing and hunting sika deer.

Following the August 8 Flood (Typhoon Morakot), when their homes were destroyed by mudslides, residents from eight Tsou tribes on Alishan relocated here. To commemorate the past lives of their ancestors, the community was named "Veoveoana" (Chasing Deer). It became the ninth Tsou tribe formed by this relocation, where 156 households currently reside, having moved in starting from December 15, 2012. Consequently, the Veoveoana Tribe brings together the distinct characteristics of the eight Alishan Tsou tribes, transforming this area into a tribal art village imbued with a rich Tsou atmosphere.

Situated at the foot of Alishan, the "Tsou Veoveoana Cultural and Creative Park" newly opened in September 2022, featuring the cultural characteristics of the indigenous Tsou people. It integrates guided tours, traditional culture, a song and dance theater, and a food market all in one place. Visitors coming here can not only experience wonderful activities such as deer feeding, archery, and indigenous handicraft DIY but can also appreciate song and dance performances that showcase traditional Tsou culture.
