The Tai'an Hot Springs are fed by an alkaline-carbonated spring with colorless and odorless water. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, including green mountains and a famous place for viewing maple trees - Mt. Manabang (near Dahu Township). Tai-an Township is home to a number of hot springs, including Hushan Hot Springs near the Wenshui River. This hot spring facility is located on a sandbar in the middle of a stream bed, and offers accommodations. The underlying Tai'an Hot Spring feeds all of the area's hot springs. Its smooth milky-white waters have a temperature of about 47 degrees Celsius.
