Located by the entrance of Baisha Bay Recreation Area, Baisha Bay Visitor Center is home to the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Headquarters. Unlike many other government buildings, this green building fits well into the surroundings and is highly practical. Each section of the building is connected to one another upon a gentle slope, such as the parking space, the plaza, and the beach. In this way, the building looks less tall than it really is, and the rooftop meadow and the platform, where activities can be held, reshape the relationship between people and landscape/the building. The center is well integrated into the area like a big tree or a rock - how eco-friendly this is!

Baisha Bay Visitor Center is especially devoted to providing accessible services and building a friendly environment for all. In 2018, it received Svayam Accessibility Awards as the most accessible tourist attraction.
