Many tourists like to take photos along Bitou Cape Hiking Trail and upload them to their Facebook pages. Indeed, with just a small climb, they can easily take beautiful photos from all sorts of angles. But the trail is also loved by experienced hikers. The 3.5 km-long wooded trail provides unbeatable panoramic views of magnificent bays and capes on a miraculous corrosion landscape, in addition to a wide range of coastal plants. We suggest that visitors save two to three hours for exploring the area. Take a leisurely walk here and watch green mountains and blue oceans. The trail is ready to be enjoyed anytime in a year.

【Reminder】

Bitou Cape (Coastal) Hiking Trail is only open to visitors of academic or work purposes.
The rock layers along Bitou Cape (Lighthouse) Hiking Trail have severe cracks because the area is quite steep. Rocks might fall off any time. To ensure visitor safety, the trail and the lighthouse is closed for now.

A paved footpath leads off beside the Bitou Elementary School here and onto the cape, giving access to splendid vistas of sea and sky. The path terminates at the tip of the cape and Bitou Cape Lighthouse, which was first constructed in 1896 and was rebuilt in its present form after being destroyed by Allied bombing during World War II.
