Lailai has the most well developed wave-cut platforms in the Northeast Coast. Its fish ecology is also highly diverse. With the vast wave-cut platforms, monoclinal ridges, and gravel beaches, Lailai becomes a paradise for fans of fishing. Large-scale seashore-fishing contests have been held here.

The strange rocks and other geological formations are awe-inspiring. The neat rows of black rocks are known far and near as “devil’s  washboard,” while Taiwan’s largest “Fire Dragon Rock” looks like a dragon diving into the sea - nothing can be seen but its ridge. These are all traces of orogenic movements. Please be reminded that winds and waves are strong in the winter. Stay safe no matter you are here to watch natural views, go seashore fishing, or take photos!
