Shetou Township in Changhua County is known as Taiwan’s sock capital. Seven out of every ten pairs of socks in Taiwan are made here.
LOHO Original Socks Co., Ltd., with more than 50 years of OEM and ODM experience, established the LOHO Socks Museum, the first sock-themed tourism factory in Taiwan.
The museum building itself is a colorful Italian-style landmark, visible even from the High-Speed Rail, symbolizing the creativity and vitality of Shetou. Inside, visitors will find detailed displays on the history of socks, the company’s development, and a wealth of sock-related knowledge, along with videos that make the story easy to follow.
Shetou is famously said to have lots of “guavas, socks, and chairmen.” This phrase reflects the township’s deep ties with the sock industry. From early hand-crank knitting machines to the rise of family-run workshops and the migration of sock factories southward, this heritage has earned Shetou the title of “The Kingdom of Socks.”
LOHO Socks Museum features patented labeling machines and exclusive hand-alignment techniques that ensure top-quality socks. The tour route is divided into two floors:
First floor: product sales, DIY workshops, and manufacturing displays Second floor: guided introductions and historical exhibits
Through this space, LOHO is proud to share high-quality, made-in-Taiwan socks with both local and international visitors.
