On Changsha Street in the back of the Office of the President, Academia Historica is a municipal heritage of a mixed western classic and modern style. During the Japanese Rule, it served as a postal department under the Transportation Bureau, Taiwan Governor General's Office. In October 2010, the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Artifacts Exhibition was held, showing artifacts relating to Taiwan's presidents and vice-presidents, including diplomatic presents from other countries. Other than guided tours for the general public and special group tours, educational events such as thematic speeches are held. A digital archive is accessible to all.
