Embraced by green mountains, the quiet center provides tourist services and a place to rest. Its permanent exhibitions are about the raptors of Guanyinshan. Commemorating Guanyinshan’s old rock-picking industry, beside the center, there is a stone sculpture park featuring a large Guanyin stone sculpture entitled “Offspring of Dragons - Stone Sculptor Wang Hsiu-chi.” The sculpture is an important landmark as it incorporates tourism and art. Opposite to the center is Guanyinshan Ecological Park which is equipped with special Guanyinshan rocks and an eagle-watching platform. The outdoor experiential park shows Guanyinshan’s volcanic geo-scapes and bird ecology through environmental and educational displays.
