Yilan Coastal Bikeway is about 12 kilometers in length. Compared with the southern section, the northern section lacks resting points. As such, the platform was added to provide cycling tourists with a place to rest and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery of the northeastern cape.

 

The platform design concept employs a “net” shape, the state of “waves” and images of a “sampam platform.” It makes use of the local sand dune geology and blends the memories of catching eels in winter and fish with Taiwanese Beach Seine in summer, with the concept of an observation deck. It is designed with the place name “Dafu” in mind and provides a three-dimensional framed-landmark equipped with fixed swing seats that allow visitors to go home with beautiful simultaneous images and memories of Guishan Island and the sea vista, creating a check-in landscape that showcases local features.

 

Along the way, visitors can also visit scenic spots such as Yongzhen Coastal Recreational Area, Zhuangwei Sand Dune Service Park, and Donggang Banyan Park. In addition, there are also many accommodation options around Zhuangwei and Jiaoxi. Let’s experience the tranquility and leisure of the Yilan Coast.
