Mangroves are evergreen small trees growing in intertidal estuaries and coastal marshes. They purify seawater, accumulating various inorganic salts and organic matter brought by rivers and oceans. Combined with the decomposition of the plants' fallen branches and leaves, a vast amount of nutrients builds up within the area, providing food for fish, shrimp, crabs, and shellfish, which in turn become meals for birds, forming a compact ecosystem.

Every autumn and winter, many migratory birds come here to roost and forage, making it an excellent spot for birdwatching. Covering an area of 3 hectares, the conservation area is equipped with facilities such as pedestrian walkways and observation decks, allowing the public to conveniently observe the ecological environment and growth process of mangroves up close. It serves as a wonderful outdoor natural classroom.
