At the north bank of Asia New Bay Area where the Love River enters Kaohsiung Port, Pier-2 Art Center carries Yancheng's past and serves as the founding highlight of Taiwan's Cultural and Creative Corridor.
In 2000, the 25 old warehouses reopened, and all memory became living moments again. Along the western portside bicycle paths, the warehouses were divided into three settlements named Dayi, Dayong, and Penglai. With artistic energy and creativity, they transformed themselves beautifully. Exhibitions are now held to demonstrate dreams, perspectives, and designs, in fields like music, theatre, and culture. Public art, digital videos, and street performances can be enjoyed here at once. Every corner is full of fun, and every scene is impressive. Pier-2 Art Center has since then rebuilt the cultural charm and lifestyle aesthetics of Kaohsiung as a port city.
People keep gathering up in this place, bringing in much creativity. Performances and events which manifest Kaohsiung's characteristics are held, and they also show new ideas and faces. These are the foundations of Kaohsiung's cultural and creative industries. Endlessly energetic and enthusiastic, the center sees no limits for its competitiveness. Transportation：Nat'l Fwy 1 → Exit at the Kaohsiung Interchange → Zhongzheng 1st Rd. → Wufu 1st Rd. to 4st Rd. → Dayong Rd.

- Take THSR to Zuoying Station or take TRA to Kaohsiung Station, transfer Kaohsiung MRT to Yancheng Station.
- Take Kaohsiung LRT to Penglai Pier-2 Station.
