Tunnel 88 was originally a tunnel of battle preparation for army tank companies; at present, the interior is used as the storage for the Matsu Distillery. In order to preserve the temperature and moisture of stored liquor, it is not recommended that the main gate be opened and closed often.

Take an airplane to Matzu Nangan Airport and transfer Lienchiang County Bus - Nangan Mountain or Sea Line to Tunnel 88 stop.
Take a ferry to Nangan Fu'ao Harbor and transfer Lienchiang County Bus - Nangan Sea Line to Tunnel 88 stop.
