Jiujiu Peak is a famous tourist spot in Nantou County. It is located on the north bank of the Wu River, with the peaks clearly visible while driving along the Shuandong Section of Prov. Hwy 14A. It is one of their major volcanoes in Taiwan together with the Huoyen Mountain in Sanyi and the Huoyen Mountain in Liugui.
