Fenqihu North Trail
Hike along the trail next to the Fenqihu Agricultural Specialty Product Exhibition Center. It will take you to the observation deck where you can see the villages in Fenqihu, and it also connects to Cake Thief Trail. While you're immersed in the temperate warm zone of the forest, enjoy the bamboo trees and check out the 3-meter square pedestal platform, stone steps and stonewall of the old Japanese Shino Shrine ruins, or the Menchai kiln ruins stacked with stones. The distance of this trail is about 2,000 meters, and it's pleasant and cool in the spring and summer.

Take THSR to Chiayi Station and transfer Alishan Route A 7329 (from THSR Chiayi Station) or Alishan Route A 7329A (from THSR Chiayi Station) (via Fenqihu) (Some buses are low-floor) to Chukou Visitor Center stop.
