Xuanguang Pier > Nantou County > Tourism Administration, Republic of China (Taiwan)

Xuanguang Pier is the starting point of the 850-meter-long Qinglongshan Hiking Trail. Going up the stairs, visitors will arrive at Xuanguang Temple first. Further up, they can reach Xuanzhang Temple. Devout believers would come to Xuanguang Pier first by boat and then visit the two temples, as if in a pilgrimage. The hiking trail is thus also known as “the pilgrimage route.

From Puli Bus Station, transfer Sun Moon Lake Route 6670 to Sun Moon Lake stop and transfer Sun Moon Lake Tour Bus 6669 to Syuanguang Temple stop.
Take TRA to Checheng Station, transfer Checheng Route 6671 to Sun Moon Lake stop and transfer Sun Moon Lake Tour Bus 6669 Syuanguang Temple stop.
Take TRA to Shuili Station, transfer Yuanlin or Nantou Bus 6801 to Sun Moon Lake stop and transfer Sun Moon Lake Tour Bus 6669 to Syuanguang Temple stop.
