Coral Kingdom Pavilion - Underwater Tunnel

National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium, located in Checheng Township, Pingtung Country, on the north-west corner of Kenting National Park, foothill face to the sea of Guishan Mountain, alongside both mountain and sea, aims to preserve intact island and ocean ecology environment. All service and exhibition areas are about more than 60 hectares, and the main facilities can be divided into 3 parts. Waters of Taiwan: Travel with a little drop, learning the water ecology from high mountains through rivermouths to the sea in Taiwan. Coral Kingdom Pavilion: Housing an 84 meter underwater tunnel, the exhibit presents varied coral reef ecology in South China Sea. Waters of the World: Showing on the Earth extremely ancient, lofty, deep and cold ocean ecology topics, wherein the most characteristic part is the 10-meter-high acrylic viewing window of the Giant Kelp Tank, which is the highest in the world. In addition, the penguins from the South Pole and the belugas from the North Pole raised in the museum are especially popular with visitors. The various displays, fun science education activities, and sleepover tours all make this visit to marine creatures which is full of both knowledge and sensations an amazing exploration.

Take THRS to Zuoying Station, transfer Kenting Express Line 9189 to National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium Transfer Bus Station, and transfer Kenting Shuttle Bus to National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium stop.
