Sun Moon Lake Firefly Season
As the season changes from spring to summer, the firefly viewing season is upon us again. Sun Moon Lake's low light pollution and clean ecological environment is very suitable for fireflies to live. The 6 main firefly viewing locations within the Sun Moon Lake area are Taomi, Dalin, Shuishe, Toushe, Tannan and Shuanglong. There are various species such as Aquatica ficta, Luciola cerata, Luciola anceyi, and Species Curtos sauteri Olivier emitting beautiful sparkling lights in the sky.
